Composite Processing
Geared towards under-graduates who have completed
as a minimum the second year of their bachelor’s
degree, a number of opportunities exist within
the Composite Technologies Group on the Isle
of Wight. Successful candidates will provide
support to existing composite technologists
in the development of composite materials and
processes for our customers. Applicants should
have a background in material science or mechanical
engineering combined with a basic knowledge
of composite materials and their applications.
Ten to twelve week summer placements are available.
Analytical/Materials Formulation Chemists
The Isle of Wight based Materials Development
Group are also looking to recruit 3rd/4th year
under-graduates to support our team of materials
chemists in the development of new composite
products. Candidates should have a background
in chemical engineering or material science
combined with a basic knowledge of epoxy chemistry
and its application.
Ten to twelve week summer placements are available.
Process Engineers
The UK Manufacturing Operations Team are looking
to recruit 3rd/4th year under-graduates to support
our Process Engineering Team in optimising plant
processes and improvement. Candidates should
have a material science, production engineering
or mechanical engineering background.
