The first thing you should know is that at Gurit, recruitment will always be a two-way process. It’s just as important that you like us as much as we like you, and when starting out on your career path there will always be an abundance of options available to you. Therefore, to make your consideration of Gurit simpler, read further on to find out what we look for in our Graduates, and why people choose our programme to develop on. Also, check out the Graduate Profiles section to find out what current Graduates actually think it’s like to work at Gurit.

Why Gurit…

A team of driven experts
Investment in people

No two people that join the Graduate Scheme at Gurit will develop in the same way. The training programme is tailored to the needs of the individual, and allows the right people to push themselves forward as far as they want to go.

Once you have made your application and decided that you would like to start your career with Gurit, the first thing we will do is shortlist candidates depending upon their qualifications, skills and experience against our current business requirements. From here we will contact the shortlist to arrange for an informal telephone interview to take place with one of our Graduate Mentors. Upon the strength of the telephone interview, candidates will be shortlisted again and invited to come to our site on the Isle of Wight for a formal interview. This will provide you with an opportunity to meet some of the Gurit team and have a look at our facilities. We do not have assessment centres as we prefer to focus our attention on individuals, however, you will be asked to prepare a presentation relevant to your current studies, and on the day you will need to complete a psychometric questionnaire as part of our recruitment procedure. Our aim is to make a decision upon your application and the meeting you have with us on the Isle of Wight as soon as possible, and wherever possible we will avoid requesting your time to visit us for a second interview (except in exceptional circumstances.) With this in mind, please ensure that you tell us as much about yourself during the time you spend at our facility, and ask all the questions you need to so that we can all reach a mutually agreeable decision about your future with Gurit.
